The aim of the SNA (Labour Standards Register) is to realise self regulation for the prevention of fraud and illegality in the temporary employment sector and for all forms of (sub)contracting work. SNA does this by organising inspections on the basis of its standards and awarding the SNA hallmark. The following are its policy spearheads:
Limiting the liability of hirers and outsourcers for not paying taxes and social insurance premiums.
Preventing high penalty fines for hirers and outsourcers for allowing individuals to carry out work who are not permitted to work in the Netherlands, whose identity has not been confirmed or who are using a false identity.
Managing a public register called the Labour Standards Register of certified companies and companies whose certification is pending and concluding agreements with inspecting bodies.
Streamlining inspections and organising inspections by inspecting bodies.Promoting certification of companies who supply labour and of (sub)contractors, to ensure that they are positively identifiable in comparison with uncertified companies.
Promoting use of the Labour Standards Register by hirers and outsourcers.
