Mechanical Engineering Service Mechanic

Function description

As a Mechanical Engineering Service Mechanic you will independently perform corrective and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of the installation so that the production progress is guaranteed. Furthermore, you are busy with:

Performing corrective, preventive maintenance and work resulting from inspections, after consultation or from schedules.
Analyzing, resolving and reporting malfunctions in installations so that work can be performed safely and stagnation is kept to a minimum.
Making proposals to improve technical situations.
Performing inspection activities.
Maintaining tools and resources.
Giving technical directions/instructions to mechanics.
Carrying out small-scale improvements.
Working on consignment shifts is part of the job.

What we're asking

The position of Mechanical Engineering Service Mechanic is a challenging, independent and dynamic role. We therefore expect you to have:

Completed post-secondary vocational education the direction of Mechanical Engineering.
Be in possession of a VCA certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Have several years of experience in a similar role within the production.
You are in possession of strong problem solving abilities in order to solve problems as quickly as possible.
You are innovative, flexible, creative and proactive in keeping the machinery operational.
You have good communication skills.
You find it interesting to work in 2 or 3 shifts.
