As an employment agency, InAxtion has a reputation for placing highly skilled technical workers from EU countries into projects in the Netherlands. What applicants don’t always know is how we go about sourcing candidates, and how they can apply for open roles.
It actually takes an extensive network of more than 100 agencies across Europe to bring in the best talent to the Netherlands. We also invite direct applications for jobs posted on our website. To discover more about how we hire, and the way it works, read this simple guide.
Option 1 – Apply via our website
Many candidates prefer to apply directly to InAxtion via our jobs page. We regularly advertise roles on platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. We also have a dedicated website for InAxtion Romania.
Seen a job on our new website? Making an application is easy. Simply click the ‘read more and apply’ button, then follow the steps for sending us your resume. Applications can also be made via email: recruiting@inaxtion.com.
One advantage of applying directly to InAxtion is that you’ll usually get a quicker reply. Why? To start with, your details aren’t being delivered to us via a third-party recruiter. It means we can start the conversation with you much sooner, without having to wait on the recruitment agency.
Although technical skills and qualifications in the relevant field are important – we also value ‘soft skills’. Also known as ‘people skills’ these are things like being a good communicator and having the right work ethic. When you apply directly to us, we can usually screen you much faster. We’re often able to tell right away if the role you’ve applied for is a good fit.
Option 2 – Visit a local recruitment agency
We know that when you’re based outside the country, it can be hard to find suitable work in the Netherlands. For that reason, we’re connected with hundreds of recruitment agencies right across Europe. This makes it easier for two reasons:
- Your recruiter knows which jobs are available through InAxtion.
- You can converse with your recruiter in your first language.
When there’s a match between you and a potential role, your recruiter will share your resume with us, and we’ll assign you to one of our consultants. Once you’ve accepted a role, this consultant will remain your contact person throughout your employment with us.
Here to help you find the right project
Our consultants are here to find the right project for you. They’re well-trained in understanding technical resumes – many come from technical backgrounds themselves – and they will almost certainly ask you questions about your previous projects.
Part of our consultant’s role is to fully understand where your talent would fit best. And, most importantly, where you would be most happy to work! We have projects all over the Netherlands, so the right role is out there for you, it’s just a matter of finding it.
Our clients are often large or enterprise-level companies. Due to the scale of their operations, project planning can sometimes be unpredictable. For example, if the delivery of materials is delayed, another project may become the new priority.
Things can sometimes change quickly. A new project might become available in a different location or require a specific certification. You might need to move closer to the new worksite or complete an additional certification. That’s why regular communication with your InAxtion consultant is so important.
The great thing about working for InAxtion is that our employment offer is tailor-made for you. That’s because we take into consideration factors like the number of times you plan to travel back home, whether you need a vehicle, the type of role you’re offered, and the company you’re working for.
InAxtion is a people-focused employment agency. We believe in the personal touch, getting to know you as a person to help you find the right roles and develop your career. We’re also here to help you if there’s ever an issue at work – we’re always by your side.
