  • Teamwork

WORKING ON A BETTER FUTURE

Corporate social responsibility. At InAxtion we take our responsibilities seriously because the choices we make today have consequences tomorrow. We want to contribute actively to the future. That is why we are trying to reduce our CO2 emissions and work towards operational sustainability.

Sustainability
We are committed to reducing any negative effects on the environment, which includes choosing green products. But sustainability also means contributing to a sustainable society. That is why we invest in the development of our people, so that they will remain employable in the long term. In addition, we support good causes, such as KidsRight and Oxfam Novib.

CO2 emissions reduction
In 2016, as a company, we are aiming to emit 5% less CO2 than in 2011. This includes the energy consumption of our buildings as well as emissions by our vehicles. We monitor our CO2 emissions using the CO2 Performance Ladder, enabling us to measure accurately the effect of the measures we've taken. Our efforts to achieve optimal CO2 reduction have resulted in us being awarded Certificate Level 3 on the CO2 Performance Ladder. View the Certificate and read more here.

Initiatives for the CO2 Performance Ladder

Smart travel
InAxtion is working on an initiative called Smart Travel. Currently, our people are mainly driving to their projects in their own cars. In 2015 we will investigate the number of miles that have been declared by our employees in order to gain insight into possible ways of reducing this number, for instance by facilitating and promoting car pooling. We are aiming to achieve a significant reduction in CO2 emissions using this initiative.

The Netherlands Carbon Neutral
In November 2015 we joined the organisation The Netherlands Carbon Neutral. The aim of this organisation is to stimulate and support companies and other organisations to become climate neutral entities. We joined the organisation in order to gain more insight and are aiming to meet the two requirements 3.D.1 and 5.C.1. We are doing this because we believe we can contribute to a better future.

Your salary
The salary you are paid by InAxtion is in line with the salary paid by our clients to their own employees. So as an agency worker you won't earn less than the permanent employees at the client's company. This has been determined by law, in particular in the pay equivalence rule.

Your development
We think it is important that you enjoy your work and continue to enjoy it. So our consultants like to help you think about your next steps. If you would like to attend a specific course for your professional development then we are always happy to discuss this.
